Summary:
DEI BioPharma Ltd. seeks a seasoned Head of Quality Control (Vaccines) to lead analytical testing and compliance for our vaccine portfolio. The role demands expertise in virology, microbiology, and immunological assays, and oversight of QC systems supporting preclinical to commercial vaccine production.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QC functions including raw materials, in-process, release, stability and environmental monitoring.
- Oversee validation and lifecycle management of analytical methods for vaccine antigens and adjuvants.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO TRS, ICH Q5-Q6, and biosafety standards.
- Manage QC readiness for WHO PQ and global regulatory audits.
- Mentor a multidisciplinary QC team and foster scientific excellence.
- Interpret QC data trends and drive risk-based decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, or a related discipline. (Master’s with 15+ years’ experience may be considered)
- Minimum of 12 years’ QC experience, 5 of which must be in vaccines or biologics.
- Experience with potency assays, antigen quantification, and cold chain testing.
